All Grown Up

Erik's just growing up too fast for us. Today was his first day in Nursery at church so Pawly thought we should celebrate by having him wear one of Dad's ties.

He's sure to have the longest tie in Nursery.
I guess this morning Erik decided he was "too big" for his high chair. He wouldn't finish his breakfast until he could sit on his own chair.
side note-this is a 'new to us' table and we love it! thanks sis

Not sure why the pictures are fuzzy-kinda think the lens is dirty from some little boy playing with the camera-don't know who that could be...
Yummy waffle's made by mom!

Oh and he does his own stunts!
presenting... Erik the Great Horse Rider!
I watched in amazement the other day, well like last month, as Erik climbed onto the saddle of his horse like he'd been doing this trick for months-but that was the first I'd ever seen him do it.
He doesn't do it much anymore, so we won't be selling tickets like I had hoped.

He's got the personal hygiene down pat!

Look at these multi-tasking skills. This also happened a few months ago. We bought a potty chair and opened it up to check it out. Erik got interested and wanted to sit on it AND the real potty. Plus he loves to brush his teeth-it's almost as good a bribing/motivational tool as candy. So he put his favorite things together. He's not as interested in the potty anymore so we'll wait on the potty training thing.

Some people's laundry
Erik, obviously, loves playing in the dryer. He even goes in there when I've just put in wet clothes, crazy kid. I love his flexability in this picture.

He's a climber. He loves to climb onto chairs, stools, really anything he can get onto, he just loves it. Luckily for us he hasn't learned how to climb out of his crib.

What's new witch U?

Here's the latest Erik pictures. He loves getting in the front seat of the cars. Many times we've gotten in the car and turned it on only to have the blinkers, the windshield wipers, and the radio going full power.

This time Erik was strapped in and ready to go...

He just needed one more swig of the hard stuff.

Erik loves to take pictures. This is an Erik original.

These swing photos were taken at grandma's when we went down to see my family and see Nick graduate.

Erik loves swinging.

Here's another Erik original. We went to a jazz choir concert at the library.

Finally, here's a picture of Sandy and her Mother's Day gift. She is enjoying it sooooooo much.

We love our mommy!!!

Sandy is our favorite mommy! And what a great mommy she has been from the very beginning.
It was like she knew just what to do even before our baby was born.

And she has been a natural mother ever since.

She loves much...

And she gives freely of herself.

She always finds time to play.

She's our superhero.

We love Sandy so much and want her to know that we appreciate her...

Not only today, but everyday we have been with her. We look forward to many wonderful years with her and can't wait to begin spending eternity together. That's what makes her so special is her ability to keep the end in mind. She truly wants everyone around her to be happy for now and forever. We love you and are greatful for you. Our wonderful wife and mother.
