Growin' and Swingin'

Yesterday we put Erik in his swing and Pawly noted, 'He looks huge in the swing!' I agreed that he has grown quite a bit. We thought we'd take a look at all the pictures we've taken of him in the swing to see just how much he's grown.
This is him 1 week old in December
2 months old
Yesterday, almost 4 months old
He got his 4 month shots at the Dr. yesterday and weighed in at 16lbs 13oz and 27 in long. That puts him in the 90th% for weight and 98th% for height! So he's taking after his daddy in height. The Dr. says he's hit or exceeded the milestones he needs to at this age, GO ERIK! His latest trick, which we need to post pic's of, is sitting up! He can sit up on our laps un-aided for a couple minutes before he folds forward in half. :) We're so impressed with him and love watching him grow, he's amazing!

I know this is my blog, but I just saw what Sandy posted and every time I scroll from the second to the third picture I can't help but laugh out loud. Erik is one big boy and has such a cute beer (milk) belly.

He is so sweet! We loved babysitting Erik. Owen asked where he was this morning...even though we babysat him a few days ago.

The Easter Egg hunt you guys had looked fun.

What a great set of pictures. You should take this pose every year until he is 18. It would be like marking his height progression on the wall like my parents used to do. HA.
