Hiking in the Mountains, Part II

We found two beautiful waterfall trails to hike on. It was a nice and cool hike, we had to climb over the leftover snow in the paths but it was totally worth it when we got to see the waterfalls. They were amazing! The water was rushing by so fast, made me wonder how it kept coming. Nature it just awesome!

Pawly was a great sport to pack little Erik along the entire trail. Despite the cold water nearby Erik still managed to fall asleep, what a good little kid, we're starting his hiking career out early so by the time he's 3 he can do a 50 miler with us. :)

Family picture at the base of the first falls. Can you find Erik? It's like a where's Waldo picture.

I guess I was the waterfall model on this hike. Pawly was our star photographer!

Here's our hiking crew, minus my mom who took the photo, on the bridge over the reservoir at the base of the falls. It was a great hike, even though we got separated from the group for a bit, we all made it home together and had fun!

Erik is so adorable and getting so big.
We miss you guys.
