Erik is now two years old and we are loving it! He is such a great blessing to our lives.

Erik got some great cards this year including one with a big two. Plus, he had fun birthday cupcakes that looked like frogs hiding in the water. Erik had already eaten the eyes in the first picture.

Here is a better one of the frogs.

We got a great tool set that Erik loves and played with for about an hour the first night. And we got it for free! Thanks Lance, Kim, and Lily.

Erik has been mimicking us a lot. He often puts his head in his hand and says "Hmm" like he is deep in thought.

He had a great birthday dinner, too. Scrambled eggs, sausage, olives, cucumbers, and donuts. All of Erik's favorites, mmmmmm.

Finally, Erik got some paints that he loves. He painted this picture and then a big posterboard. He even drew two circles and said, "Eight." We love Erik so much and are looking forward to making some wonderful memories with our wonderful son.

All three of you are a blessing. Thank you so much for sharing your lives with us!
Can't wait to see you again.
I don't know why but seeing all those foods together on one plate kind of makes me queasy.
Individually, good foods. Together, not so much for me. Good for Erik.
Isn't it crazy how smart they get when they're still so little!?
And ditto on the foods... :)
Happy Birthday Erik! I'm sorry you didn't like our birthday song. We'll practice and make it better next year.
Happy Birthday Erik! Wow how time flies when you have a fun boy like that.
I like your idea of giving him a dinner of all his favorite foods...even if the combo might make me lose my lunch. :)
What a fun birthday. It was cool to see a Christmas sign I made once upon a time hanging up in the background of that tool picture.
LOL! You're the coolest mom ever! Dougnuts for dinner! Awesome! Isn't it hilarious when your kids mimick you? Sometimes I'll be standing with my arms folded without realizing it, and I'll look down at Shaelyn and she'll wrap her hands around her elbows and give me a big cheezer smile. Love it!
What a cutie! Happy Birthday, Erik I can't believe that he's 2, Those cupcakes are so cute! So fun!
Can't believe he is 2 until I look at my kids and realize how old they are. Nice plate of food, makes me queasy but I am sure he loved it. Looks like he is trying to fold his arms while eating that bite of donut. Also love the frog cupcakes.
