Our Weekend

If Erik had his way he would stay in PJ's all day everyday. We normally have to coax him into changing into clothes each morning. Last week he was at my mom's for the day. When I got there at around 4pm, he was still in PJ's (apparently Grandma's don't fight these kind of battles) So Erik got his wish of staying in PJ's all day long.
Later that night we went to the grocery store. This is how stylish our son looked in public that nigh. I'm so proud. Boots and PJ's, it's a great combo.
I accidentally zipped a bit of neck skin when I was helping Erik take off his jacket. I honestly don't know how I caught his skin zipping down, but it happened.
Daddy asked Erik to show off his "hickey" He also asked, "Who gave you a hickey?"
Erik's responce, "Mickey!"

Valentine's would not be complete w/o SUGAR COOKIES!
These are my favorite! Erik helped me cut them out and bake them and then he LOVED putting as much candy as possible on each heart. It was so cute. He was really good about putting the candy on the cookies and NOT in his mouth. And he was good at scolding Pawly when he broke the "don't eat the candy" rule. :)

Our Valentine's Date!
We went to the Melting Pot Fondue resturant with my sis and bro-in-law. We had a great time. Good food and good fun. After dinner we went DANCING! I love dancing, but realized that we really only go on Valentine's day.
I'd like to change that this year and make a goal to DANCE more!

The Traditional Valentine's Breakfast. This time I added mashed banana's to the pancake batter, and we all loved it! So yummy!

Erik enjoying his last breakfast bites.

The gifts:
Erik got paints, flash cards and a new coloring book.
Pawly got a very soft and snuggly blanket.
Sandy got a sustaining pedal for our "new to us" keyboard.
Erik hasn't painted since December I think. The paints he got for his B-Day ran out that fast-oh well it was a $1 well spent :) So he was in heaven painting again.
That was our Valentine's weekend. I love my husband and son so much and I'm glad there are times like Valentine's Day to help us say "I love you" in so many ways.

So did the sustain pedal work with the keyboard then? I hope so. It looks like you guys had a wonderful weekend! I was going to make sugar cookies too but I totally forgot. They look scrumptious! Love you all:)
