Having Fun

Our ward recently did a lip sync night to classic 50's and 60's songs. It was great fun!

Pawly and I got to lip sync to Sonny and Cher's "I Got You Babe"

We had a blast!

It was fun to be silly on stage and get our ward to laugh.

Everyone loved our retro costumes, especially Pawly's! The picture doesn't show it but he was wearing silver shoes with this lovely suit.

I had fun wearing a long black wig, a little itchy, but it completed the look of Cher.

This weekend our family from Ut came to visit us!!

Katee's, Pawly's sister, birthday is this month and she wanted to celebrate with us.

So I took this opportunity to make a fun B-day cake.

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. It looked great, she loved it and we all loved eating it! :)

She's 12 now!
This morning Pawly showed her how to find ancestors that she can do baptism's for the dead for. We had fun telling her how much she'll love the temple and how much we love it.
While our family was up we also went to a local corn maize. It was so much fun! With so much more than just a maize. It had a 'corn box' (instead of sand, it was corn) Erik loved that! And a big bouncy pillow that about 40 kids could jump on at once, a hayride, pig races, corn cannon, 2 straw mazes and a kiddie train.
I forgot the camera for that though, but it was a great time!
