Simple Joys

SNOW!
The other day it snowed a bit and here if you don't play with it right away the snow is all melted w/in just a few hours. So I got Erik all bundled up and we headed out to play in the >1in. of snow.
He enjoyed throwing snow the most!
Yeah he got me with this snow, down my shirt and everything! Lil stinker :)
Erik also enjoyed walking the "maze" he called it. The path that daddy's car left in the snow that morning. It was really cute to see him run around.

And we build a snowman together! All 1 foot of him :)
Since the snow was not very deep we got some rocks and grass in this snow man. Later that day he was melted and the next day I looked at our back porch and saw the dirt remains of our snow man. Wish I would have taken a picture of that, it was so funny to see 3 circles of dirt and rocks on the side walk.

He's gathering a snow ball to throw at me.

This week!
We've been doing things to set up and get ready for our baby girl to join our family. She'll be here in about 4 weeks!!!
Here's the crib up in Erik's room. Erik likes putting any small toy inside and covering them with a blanket. Then he tells me to be quite because they are sleeping.
I think he's going to be a great big brother!

On Thursday Erik asked me to go get the camera and take pictures of him. I quickly did because he's been so camera shy lately I was pleasantly surprised he wanted his picture taken :)

So here he is playing in his room.

And hiding his puppy.
So for baby news I'm doing well, I'm 36 weeks and I've started to dilate a little which is good but not a sign to me or my Dr that I'll go early. I often have contractions, maybe 3 an hour when I'm up on my feet, but not painful or consistent. So it's just the waiting game for another 4 weeks. I do have a few more projects to get done before she comes, so that should keep me busy.

Glad to see that Erik is in the picture taking mood again. Always good shots. He will be a fun brother.

Great pictures. Come on over to play in the snow. Our snowman is six weeks old and still standing.
