Welcome to the family Jillian Louise!
Our sweet little girl was born on Friday March 25th
weighing in at 6lbs 13oz and 19in long
Just after birth, at 9:55am

Erik LOVES holding Jillian and is really understanding that she's a permanent addition to our family. Today he came with Daddy to the hospital and Jillian was in the Nursery so Erik said, "Where's Jillian?"

See how tiny she is! It keeps amazing us how small she is but I'm so grateful for her petite little body, it sure helped me when I was pushing. Yes, we had a successful VBAC and what a blessing!

I feel pretty good and we're glad to be home. Hopefully we can get some sleep tonight ;)
In other good news, Paul got a new full-time job that we're all so excited for. He was offered the position yesterday after Jillian was born, a great addition to a wonderful day! We feel so blessed.

Congrats! That is so wonderful that it went well and that she is here safe and sound. What a little beauty. Cassandra, might I just say you are looking superb?! Hooray hooray! I love how tiny they are right at the beginning. And I love how excited and happy Erik looks in all those pictures. What a beautiful little family!

I'm so glad you got to do a VBAC - that's WONDERFUL!! What a cute girl and exactly the same size as Claire when she was born. Was she early, I can't remember your exact due date??

She is darling. Your Mom keeps raving about how dainty and petite she is. I told Ben you better have had a successful VBAC with such a tiny baby. Also congrats to Paul on the new job.
